Covid updates:
Stanly County has seen a great increase in the number of cases of Covid and Bear Creek has specifically felt this wave. We have several employees that have tested positive and are out recovering. One of our family members is seriously ill and, in the hospital, fighting this illness. Due to this uptick, we are reinstituting some stricter control measures to keep our staff and clients as safe as possible. Afterall, if we are out sick, we cannot help your pets. These protocols will be effective immediately and apply to ALL regardless of vaccination status.
- We are reinstituting curbside service as much as possible and everyone coming into the building will be required to wear a mask.
- We will still allow you to stay with your pet during euthanasia and if your pet is too aggressive to be handled by anyone but the owner.
- We are only allowing 1 person with the pet when coming into the building. If you are brining your pet in for us to euthanize then we will allow a max of 2 people.
These control measures will continue to be in place until the positive rates go down sufficiently to warrant lessening them. We realize that many have strong feelings regarding mask wearing and Covid protocols in general, and this is a very political polarizing topic; but politics aside, I must keep my staff safe. I cannot loose even one of them to this disease if I can help it. They are precious and more valuable to me than your political views.
